**Job description**

**About Us**: The Nurturing Hand Paediatric Occupational Therapy Clinic is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and their families. Our team of experienced occupational therapists work to create a welcoming and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. We are currently seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our clients.

As a Receptionist at The Nurturing Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. Your primary responsibilities will include:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanour.
- Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
- Maintain accurate client records and update information as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Ensuring timely communication with clients regarding appointments, cancellations, and service information.
- Keeping a record of any follow-up actions required with clients, staff, or third parties
- Communicate effectively with clients, therapists, and staff to ensure seamless coordination of appointments and services.
- Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Handle billing and payment processing.
- Provide general support to the clinic staff as needed.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting is desired. We are happy to train either way if you don't
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using office software and equipment.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Friendly and approachable personality.
- Being someone that is warm with kids is also a bonus

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 20 per week
