Connect APAC have been exclusively engaged by a leading Australian FMCG Food Manufacturer to source a State Key Account Manager for their Food Service Channel.
Reporting into the National Business Manager (Food Service/QSR), this role is focused on managing a variety of channels including HoReCa, Distributors and broader Food Service across the South Australia and Northern Territory areas (based in Adelaide).
The role would be ideal for an existing Key Account Manager or even an ambitious Territory Manager who is keen to manage key accounts.Key Responsibilities:Efficiently managing the day-to-day requests and requirements of the accounts in your area of responsibility.Overseeing the stock through the various sales channels, including quality control of presentation onsite/online.Create relationships within prospects at every level.
Engage with senior decision makers and influencers and be comfortable when discussing the growth of the strategy and solutions.Own the customer relationship by setting the strategic and tactical plans for assigned customers and become the trusted advisor to the customer for better business outcomes.Providing excellent internal and external stakeholder service and communication.Develop a solid understanding of your customers business and operations and understand their current and future market strategies.Build and maintain strong business relationships at all user levels as well as develop strong networks with internal stakeholders.Strategic Account actions (set joint business plans with customers for next 6-12 months).
Generate and share data driven insights.Develop category offer in line with market trends and profitability targets.Build pipeline and understand totality of sales process and sales velocity in order to hit sales goals.Key Requirements:Ideally exposure to the Food or Beverages categories or similar.Exposure to the Food Service (HoReCa, Distributors, QSR etc).
Ability to manage multiple customers across various channels.Comfortable working in cross functional teams with various departments (Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, Finance).
