**Overview**:
Our large Federal client is seeking for an experienced Content Developer to assist with the ongoing content development of the platforms.

Responsibilities of the role may include:

- Contribute to the implementation and management of content on websites
- Experience in optimising web content for readability to a high standard in line with the Digital Transformation Agency's style manual
- Support the development of tailored website content including the creation and maintenance of online tools and resources for the websites
- Experience in developing accessible content in line with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1)
- Understanding Search Engine Optimisation principles, and how to optimize user experience for a variety of stakeholder segments.
- Researching, analysing, and evaluating the effectiveness and performance of web content, including life cycle establishment and periodic reviews
- Develop and support the website governance and strategic material.

- **Experience**
- In optimising web content for readability to a high standard in line with the Digital Transformation Agency's style manual
- Supporting the development of tailored website content including the creation and maintenance of online tools and resources for the websites
- Researching, analysing, and evaluating the effectiveness and performance of web content, including life cycle establishment and periodic reviews
- ** Technical knowledge**
- Experience using and reporting on Google Analytics
- Experience in developing accessible content in line with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1)
- ** Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in web content development
- ** Other skills**
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimisation principles, and how to optimize user experience for a variety of stakeholder segments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work and communicate effectively and concisely with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to develop and support website governance and strategic material
- Proven ability to work within an agile team environment
- Experience and ability in transferring knowledge to team members

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Knowledge of HTML
- Experience using GovCMS or other content management systems for web publishing
