Content Creator

This is a unique opportunity to work with a Government Department that has a direct impact on the Australian local community, ensuring longevity and success in a global landscape.

The program of work is securely funded and about to move into phase two, building on groundwork laid and a defined strategy that has already shown promising results.

You will join a highly regarded team that has worked towards maintaining industry best practice for their Content Design, winning awards recognising their digital work during the first phase. The team's ultimate goal is to maintain existing work by moving from team to team, liaising with stakeholders and addressing their needs before moving on to new tasks and areas.

As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for creating, updating and reviewing content specific to the user journey across various stages of development for the programme. You will need to regularly simplify the content for the user audience, making it engaging and clear both in market/industry context and external to that context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating content that is easy for users to understand at the time they need it.
  • Developing appropriate content formats dependent on specific needs based on research and prototypes.
  • Reviewing content across multiple platforms and content types - website, internal transactions, advertising, and/or print, ensuring consistency, conciseness and necessity.
  • Collaborating closely with the user researcher, service designer, developer and others to embed content into the right point in the user journey.
  • Developing content (vignettes etc.) for communication/discussion pieces at various levels (fortnightly showcases, SES presentations etc.).

What We Offer:

In return, you will receive a contract until the end of the fiscal year, with a 12-month extension available pending your performance and output as an SES approval.
