We are committed to providing reliable, fast, flexible and bespoke services for our customers as well as the many well-known brands we partner with
We're seeking a skilled and hands-on Regional Compliance Lead - Technology to join our Office of the CIO team in North Sydney on a permanent basis.
This is your opportunity to shape and drive the data compliance function for a global technology business that values innovation and integrity. You'll work across regions to build scalable, practical compliance practices — and ensure they're embedded in everything we do.
**Salary**: Competitive salary plus super plus annual bonus incentive and more
So, what's the job?
Reporting to the Head of IT Governance & Transformation, you'll act as the compliance partner to global technology teams, ensuring obligations are met and policies are embedded.
- You'll oversee compliance across global Technology operations, ensuring alignment with ICIF, group policies, and regional regulatory obligations
- You'll coordinate and monitor compliance activities, identifying, documenting, and mitigating risks across all technology teams
- You'll serve as the central point of contact for compliance matters within the Technology division
- You'll conduct compliance reviews, address gaps, and implement formal remediation plans for non-compliance
- You'll partner with Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams for cohesive assurance activities
- You'll provide regular reporting to senior leadership on the status of compliance across regions

And what are we looking for?
You'll bring the right balance of regulatory expertise, commercial thinking, and a collaborative approach.
- You'll have proven experience in leading the technology compliance, risk, or regulatory roles within a global or complex environment (within the Australian market)
- You'll bring proven knowledge and experience of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements relevant to technology (e.g. APRA CPS 234, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST)
- You'll be familiar with ICIF or similar internal control frameworks, with experience in a matrixed or federated technology organization
- You'll have experience working within Line 2 risk (Line 1 ideal)
- You'll demonstrate experience working with IT governance, operational risk, and global compliance programs
- You'll possess strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- You'll be flexible with working hours to support international collaboration and governance cycles

So, why choose us?
We value optimism, caring, togetherness, reliability and determination.
**We have more than 2600 employees worldwide**: we're a global group of digital specialists, actuaries, marketers, doctors, nurses, case managers, claims specialists, finance experts and customer service professionals. We share a global mission to look after travellers, at every step of their journey.
Job flexibility. We understand the importance of making sure that work fits into your life, not the other way around. Our hybrid work week policy ensures our employees maintain work-life balance with the flexibility of 5 days in the office per fortnight.
Career growth. We want you to continue to learn, develop and bring your ideas to the table. We want to hear what you think, and we want you to work with the business - not for the business
Take the time you need, for you and your community. We encourage you to take the time you need, when you need it. We offer regular annual and personal leave benefits along with anniversary leave, volunteer leave and a comprehensive paid parental leave scheme.
Travel and work with us. We'll help you keep travelling in your career, oh and quite literally with free travel insurance. We also offer great discounts through our extensive travel partnerships so start planning for your next trip today
