About This Role

This senior leadership position plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's compliance landscape within the Asia-Pacific region.

As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and compliance, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a robust compliance program that embeds a strong control culture across the business.

Key to your success will be maintaining a deep understanding of local regulatory requirements and staying ahead of changing legislative obligations.

You will provide strategic advice to senior leadership teams, ensuring compliance best practices are integrated into all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program.
  • Embed a compliance control culture across the business.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with legislative obligations and stay informed about changing regulations.
  • Manage relationships with regional regulators.
  • Implement group-wide compliance policies across various areas.
  • Design and maintain AML/CTF programs.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Advanced degree or relevant professional qualification.
  • 10+ years in financial services with a strong risk management and compliance background.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a large corporation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial services legislation in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
