I am currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to join our amazing Construction client on the Gold Coast. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Contracts Administrator and Project Manager by overseeing contracts, managing claims, and providing legal assistance. This is a senior position with significant responsibilities and requires a strong background in the construction industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Contracts Administrator and Project Manager to review, negotiate, and manage contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide legal guidance and support in contract interpretation and dispute resolution.
- Analyze and assess contractual risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee claims management, including the evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of claims.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination between departments.
- Stay updated on industry trends, laws, and regulations affecting commercial operations.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to commercial activities.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a contracts management, senior Contracts Administrator (CA), or existing Commercial Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, claims management, and legal aspects of the industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze complex contractual issues and provide practical solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, law, or a related field (preferred).
