**The Opportunity**

Are you enthusiastic about embracing cutting-edge technology and dedicated to driving innovation to achieve business success, including assisting in bringing Ford's award-winning vehicles to our customers. Ranger and Everest are more than just vehicles - they are the result of the incredible design, engineering, and testing work that takes place right here in Victoria.

This role will be visualisation role which will be partnering with Product Development (PD) stakeholders to work on developing cutting edge solutions including use of advanced visualisation technologies such as extended reality to redefine and enhance efficiency by reviewing, scoping, and developing crucial technology solutions that help Ranger continue to be #1 selling vehicle in Australia. The role will report into the PD IT Manager and sits within the Design Studio, located in, Campbellfield, Victoria. As a team we enjoy monthly lunches, celebrating our wins and participating in annual volunteer days.

This is a hybrid role, and as the customers are always at the heart of what we do, weekly travel to our Campbellfield head office is required. This role provides the opportunity to be an integral part of building the next generation of vehicles and exposure to a diverse range of stakeholder across globe.

**Key Responsibilities**

Lead and provide best-in-class strategic technology expertise to stakeholders for digital innovation and visualization solutions, including VR/XR. Deliver solutions by aligning with stakeholders and IT teams (local, regional, and global).

Stay at the forefront of technology, leverage partnerships and events, think creatively, and work with agility, while taking an industry-leading approach.

Drive technology opportunities by actively engaging in learning and deploying technical solutions that require constant learning including solutions such as Autodesk, VRED and Unreal Engine.

Optimise IT investments including reducing operational inefficiencies by delivering on solutions with clearly defined value.

Offer expert technical advice across a broad range of topics, including Visualisation to contribute to the next generation automotive design and engineering.

**Areas of professional exposure (Must Haves vs Nice to Haves)**

Bachelors degree in Business - Information system, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Engineering

Min. 3 years of experience in IT (automotive experience beneficial)

Experience or knowledge of gaming engines, 3DCC workflows or other visualisation platform/software would be beneficial including strong experience in Visualisations technology especially XR, Unreal Engine and Autodesk products.

Strong communication, negotiation, and related skills
- Proven a
