Marsh is recruiting for a suitably qualified **Transaction Advisory Consultant **in our Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions team (PEMA).

**We will count on you to**:

- Analyze the suitability of insurance programs in the context of mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure projects and financings. Prepare and deliver due diligence reports for corporate buyers, financials buyers (such as private equity), project sponsors, sellers and lenders.
- Mentor, guide, train and coach junior team members regarding Marsh's advice, broking and M&A insurance solutions.
- Coordinate technical contributions on policy wordings and coverage from other practices within Marsh, and deliver best in class service to PEMA clients.
- Work closely with internal Marsh practices to implement insurance placements post-transaction.
- Manage & expand relationships within the mergers and acquisitions community, including investment funds, Marsh corporate clients and prospects, insurers, law firms and other advisors.
- Project Marsh's principles and contribute to the growth of the PEMA brand externally and internally by creating thought leadership and by hosting/chairing industry events.
- Acting as a liaison to overseas PEMA professionals across the globe.
- Lead responses on a number of requests for proposal.
- Keep abreast of changing risk and insurance market conditions

**Skills and experience required**:

- Experience in insurance broking and account management for corporate and/or global accounts
- Prior experience in a due diligence/insurance advisory role, or demonstrated experience with clients considering M&A in an insurance broking context.
- Tier 1 compliance
- Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Strong data analysis, research, report writing and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
