Looking for an opportunity to work for a market leader and more importantly represent the brand on the door As the Marketing Manager for Asahi & Peroni your new role will play a key leadership role in the international team, responsible for executing the brands strategy in line with the brand portfolio strategy. You will own and lead the brand positioning, advertising, pricing and sales planning, as well as ensuring superior execution of brand standards.
This is an amazing opportunity to work across two global brands in partnership with our global partners, and global sponsorships With three direct reports and an initiative to grow and expand these two portfolios come and join us on this exciting opportunity.
The role also requires strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement (across UK, Japan, NZ and Australia).
**Key requirements**:
- Leading, developing and executing short and long-term brand strategy and integrated commercial plans
- Ensure clarity of the brands portfolio role and growth expectations within the business, both locally & globally
- Lead the effective management of the brand through the course of the year, adjusting the brand(s) and activities in line with contextual changes
- Work Collaboratively with Global on co-creating local copy needs and where feasible lead the development of brand communications across all media touch points
- Development of clear and engaging agency briefs that go beyond "words on a page"
- Leading the agency dialogue and agency feedback
- Lead complex key cross commercial projects, developing objectives, scope, stakeholder analysis/influence, build the project teams and lead/manage the program of works to achieve project objectives.
- Lead and management the critical path of all activities identifying risks or opportunities
- Actively manage the brands performance vs budget expectations, working with state and vertical teams on performance plans
- Work in collaboration with Senior Commercial partners to support in trade activation development - support our customer / shopper / category marketing colleagues to bring the brand to life in trade.
**About you**:
Most importantly you have a passion for beer We are an innovative bunch at Asahi Beverages and we are looking for you to join the continuous evolution of our Beverages along the way. You are an experienced Marketing Manager who has a strategic mindset. You enjoy leading a team and constantly uplifting your skills within the marketing space.
- Likely 10+ years commercial/business experience
- 5+ years marketing experience within the FMCG sector, 2-3 years' experience at the Marketing Manager level preferred.
- Strong experience in defining effective research and agency briefs and management, sets the standard of what great looks like
- Prior people management experience essential
