The role provides strategic partnership and support in a manner consistent with local laws and best practices.
You will help drive HR strategies and initiatives that align with critical business priorities and enhance performance.What You'll Do You will be the strategic partner to the SVP, GTM - APJServe as a trusted advisor and coach to other leaders in APJYou will be the main HR Point of Contact in Japan, stretching from operational to strategic supportApply data analytics and workforce planning to shape the GTM APJ HR StrategyCollaborate with GTM leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that drive engagement and performance across the teamsLead change management initiatives critical to GTM strategiesDrive culture-building initiatives that align with GTM's strategic vision and enhance cross-functional collaborationPartner closely with the global HRBP team to align on company-wide strategies, priorities, and processesPartner with People Team COEs, FP&A partners, and other parts of the organization to lead, develop and deliver strategic HR initiatives that include: organizational design, talent management, employee relations, compensation, culture, diversity, talent development, and performance management to provide creative strategies and solutions for the businessProactively partner with the Talent Acquisition team to share information and develop successful recruiting strategiesLead and/or serve on special HR projects and business unit committeesAdhere to and/or set new standards and uplift standard practices and methodologiesUtilize HR data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and provide insights on workforce trends affecting GTM performance; develop and deliver plans to improve employee experiences, including engagement, DEI, and retentionProvide expert advice on HR policies and procedures within the GTM function, ensuring compliance and best practicesManage complex employee relations issues to resolutionQualifications Progressive experience in HR and as a Senior HR Business PartnerExperience supporting a GTM orgExperience working in Japan and supporting the entire APJ regionStrong knowledge of supporting employees and leaders in multiple countriesExperience across HR facets including organizational development, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and development, and compensationExcellent consulting and conflict management skills with the ability to coach and influence leaders at various levelsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience managing regional challenges and complex regional projects while working across geographies with HRBPs, COEs and Finance partnersBonus points if you have Degree in HR or Business related fieldBi-lingual; fluent in Japanese and EnglishCIPDTech industry experience highly preferredPrior work experience with a multinational companyPlease note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
