Job Description:
  • Deliver regular financial reporting and insights for AMP Bank, including daily Net Interest Margin (NIM), product margins, and monthly analysis of revenue, costs and performance.
  • Support strategic planning, quarterly forecasting, and financial modelling activities, including NIM forecasting, margin modelling and Balance Sheet integration.
  • Monitor key financial metrics, investigate performance variances and provide commercial analysis to support decision-making and business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cost centre managers on budgeting and monthly cost reviews, and assist with product and pricing analysis, including cost-of-funds (COF) validation and reporting.
What you will bring to the role
  • Ideally at least 4 years' experience in financial analysis, reporting, or business partnering, ideally within banking, financial services or a related industry
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (progress toward CA/CPA certification is advantageous but not essential)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling, with strong attention to detail and a desire to further develop technical capabilities
  • Experience in strategic planning and forecasting processes, including quarterly and annual cycles
  • Foundational understanding of banking concepts such as Net Interest Margin (NIM), product margins, and cost-of-funds, or a strong willingness to learn quickly
