**About the Company**
Our client is a leading Australian ASX listed speciality retailer with circa 400 stores operating across Australia. They are market leaders in their industry for both retail products and services, and have ambitious goals for new store rollouts, relocations and upgrades over the next 5 years.

**About the Role**
Reporting to the GM of Property, your primary objective will be to achieve company targets for new stores, relocations and upgrades across your region in Australia and NZ. You will also provide the GM with analytical support in order to assist in setting strategic objectives for the business.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
As the Leasing Portfolio Manager, you will:

- Provide day to day support to business functions through sourcing and securing appropriate sites for new stores, relocations and upgrades across retail and services divisions
- Negotiating the best deals in each case in order to provide the business with 'best practice' in occupancy costs
- Provide recommendations to the business regarding investments in existing properties, including the preparation of proposals and helping with the plans and forecasts of all leases

**Skills & Experience**

To be successful in this position you will have:

- 3+ years' experience in a leasing role preferably with a national retailer or work in agency
- Strong working understanding of financial modelling, cash flows with the ability to use Microsoft Excel efficiently
- Strong knowledge of Town Planning regulations across multiple states, as well as of Australian demographics and geography through previous deals across states (beneficial but not essential)
