About the company
Contemporary Catering is a family owned and run business providing quality catering solutions predominately to the Aged Care industry since 1992. Operating in over 40 locations throughout Victoria and Queensland employing over 700 staff.

About the role
The Operations Manager role is a position overseeing several locations with the Contemporary Catering Head Office based in Southeast Melbourne. The position reports directly to the Regional Manager and requires close communication to be held with our clients and employees who work tirelessly to serve quality meals daily to the Aged Care sector.

Duties
- Proactively build client relationships
- Maintain client and resident satisfaction
- Supervise performance and develop team commitment and cooperation
- Planned continuous improvement
- Conduct food safety compliance checks
- Hire, train, and mentor staff ensuring a fair workplace
- Develop and implement staff schedules and maintain budgets
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed

Skills & experience
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of hospitality industry
- Current Drivers Licence
- Flexible approach to changing priorities
