Ambulance Victoria (AV) is recruiting for a permanent, full time Business Resilience Officer to join the Emergency Management Unit. The Emergency Management Unit is responsible for leading the development of emergency management policy and effective emergency management planning and resilience across Ambulance Victoria.
The position is based at our Doncaster office.
About the role
A Business Resilience Officer assists with the development and maintenance of the Business Resilience Policy and Framework structure, including collaborating with internal stakeholders and working with them on tasks designed to improve and maintain their business resilience. Additionally supports the effective and efficient service delivery of division wide programs and projects, including assisting with management and mitigation of business disruption risk, development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans, Business Resilience training and awareness programs, and program improvement. Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Business Resilience, the main duties of the role include but are not limited to:

- Support the Senior Advisor, Business Resilience to validate BCPs against design standards to ensure recovery strategies are practical and based on realistic timeframes and resources that support critical business functions
- Work with the Senior Advisor Business Resilience to review and update the AV Enterprise Crisis Management Plan
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, data analysis and documentation reflecting outcomes for the Business Resilience department
- Maintain relevant governance documents such as business resilience action plans and draft briefing notes
- Facilitate the design and development of exercise scenarios, testing and technical review of BCP's with I&T and AV business units, to assess and provide recommendations within legislative, regulatory and policy frameworks
- Actively work to develop and maintain a professional relationship with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve AV's business resilience goals

About you
Suited to a highly driven and motivated individual who is passionate about improving service delivery and the successful applicant will possess:

- Great verbal and written communication skills to enable the preparation of accurate, concise documents and reports.
- Completion of a degree or relevant industry certification with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience
- Management skills to undertake project planning, implement learning opportunities and assess outcomes to meet timeframes
- Strong time management skills to undertake project planning, implement learning opportunities and assess outcomes to meet timeframes
- Prior experience with Business Resilience and Risk Management standards, frameworks and programs will be highly regarded
- Required to possess a current Victorian Driver Licence

The salary for this position is in alignment with the Ambulance Victoria (Management and Administrative Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2021, grade AV3 plus 10.5% super.
