Job Opportunity

Ambulance Victoria is committed to delivering exceptional patient care by implementing effective emergency management strategies. The role of a Business Resilience Officer involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain business resilience policies and frameworks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Validate Business Continuity Plans against design standards to ensure practical recovery strategies with realistic timeframes and resources for critical business functions.
  • Review and update the Enterprise Crisis Management Plan in collaboration with the Senior Advisor, Business Resilience.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, data analysis, and documentation reflecting outcomes for the Business Resilience department.
  • Maintain relevant governance documents such as business resilience action plans and briefing notes.
  • Facilitate the design and development of exercise scenarios, testing, and technical review of BCPs with I&T and AV business units to assess and provide recommendations within legislative, regulatory, and policy frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve AV's business resilience goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to enable the preparation of accurate, concise documents and reports.
  • Completion of a degree or relevant industry certification with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Strong management skills to undertake project planning, implement learning opportunities, and assess outcomes to meet timeframes.
  • Prior experience with Business Resilience and Risk Management standards, frameworks, and programs will be highly regarded.
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence.
