The Role
As Associate Director you'll be responsible for supporting the relationship management and strategic direction of a large portfolio of high-profile Fund/Financial sponsor clients. You'll benefit from the support of a large team to deliver bespoke debt and non-debt financial solutions to the bank's client base and work collaboratively with other areas of the bank to enhance ancillary business and to maximise shareholder value.
Each Day, You'll Go Above And Beyond To
Support the Client Director, responsibility for the client relationship management of a portfolio of clients across the Funds Management sector in Australia. This includes joint responsibility for the overall financial performance and returns of the client portfolioBuild client advocacy for NABCollaborate and work closely with key product teams, including Infrastructure, Property, Markets, Transactional, Portfolio Management and Credit partners to deliver client outcomes and drive growthLead the execution from a documentation point of view for any new Fund level debt financingsAssist the Client Management & Execution team with complex credit submissions when requiredBe accountable for the credit risk quality of the portfolio; proactively manage risk and meet all policy and compliance requirementsStructure and price new Fund level debt transactions
We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll need:
Detailed sector knowledge ideally gained across the Funds/Financial Sponsors sector, through relevant institutional banking experience (all sectors, including Funds, Property, Infrastructure will be considered) or across Portfolio Management with proven credit writing skills in those sectors.Proven track record of assisting the management of client relationships and driving client advocacyProven track record of assisting origination ability that delivers revenue and returnsCommercial acumen and highly developed communication and interpersonal skillsTertiary qualifications in business, law or engineering, Corporate/Institutional banking experience
