**Your role and responsibilities**
**In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. Y**ou will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABB's market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization.**

**This role contributes to the success of the Electrification Service business in Australia.**Main stakeholders include**channel partners, service sales teams, product managers, operations leaders, and key customers across industrial and utility sectors**.**

**You will be mainly accountable for**:

- Defining and implementing the specified market channel sales strategy, in accordance with the marketing and sales strategy and ensuring regular follow-up to achieve them.
- Implementing annual performance assessments and forecast processes for channel partners.
- Ensuring appropriate communication, promotion, and training activities are in place for our channel partners.
- Designing the policies and relevant standards (e.g., market segmentation, customer due diligence, cybersecurity) to be used globally for channel partner evaluation and certification.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- **Proven experience minimum 5 years** in channel management, service sales, or business development within the **electrical services or energy solutions sector**, ideally in a B2B or industrial environment.
- ** Strong background** in channel partner development, service delivery models, and go-to-market strategies for electrification products and solutions.
- ** Demonstrated success** in building and executing channel sales strategies, managing partner ecosystems, and driving service revenue growth.
- ** Proficiency** in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), partner management tools, and data analytics platforms for sales performance tracking.
- ** Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills**, with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical, commercial, and executive levels.
- ** Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field**, or equivalent practical experience in the electrification area.
- ** Valid driver's license and work authorization** for Australia.
