One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced **Business Manager **to** **provide strategic financial and procurement advice across the department. The role can be done from **Canberra or Melbourne **with the ability to work a few days a week from home. The successful **Business Manager **will be** **offered a** 24-month contract partnered with extension options.**

The successful** Business Manager **will be responsible for the below:

- Managing and coordinating procurement as well as ensuring compliance to Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines
- Ensuring budgets and forecasts accurately reflect the OCIO requirements
- Providing costing analysis for new services/solutions
- Providing oversight and preparation of monthly reporting

The successful **Business Manager **will have experience in the following:

- Demonstrated understanding of managing financial management risks
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to understand complex ICT issues to tailor financial and procurement support
- Experience providing financial management in a Commonwealth Agency (desirable)
