About the role

This is a flexible, part-time or casual role for someone who's confident, outgoing, organised and who loves building relationships in the local business community.

As our Local Business Engagement Officer, you'll:

  • Walk into Canberra businesses to invite them into our Business Spotlight Series
  • Book and film short in-person interviews and client testimonials
  • Coordinate and assist with business events and workshops
  • Ensure our social media content is created and posted using a content calendar
  • Follow up with businesses via phone, email or SMS
  • Track everything in our CRM (Go High Level backend)

You'll be representing a business coaching and growth company supporting small to medium business owners.


What we're looking for

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Are confident speaking to people face-to-face
  • Enjoy building rapport and organising logistics
  • Are great at follow-through and managing simple admin
  • Can use Canva, Meta Business Suite or similar tools
  • Are self-motivated and can work independently
  • Have a car and full Australian working rights

Experience in customer service, business development, PR or content is great, but attitude and initiative matter most.


What we offer

  • $35/hr base casual rate (part-time rate varies)
  • Commission bonuses for each converted introduction (expected at $3000+/month)
  • Flexible hours — 15 to 25 hours/week, Mon–Fri
  • Paid training and support
