Business Web Solutions is a leading digital marketing agency based in Canberra, ACT, Australia. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as an SEO / Social Media Manager on a 6-month internship contract.
As the SEO / Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the online presence and visibility of our clients' businesses. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO and social media strategies to increase website traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving search engine rankings
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and drive organic traffic
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and provide regular reports to clients
- Manage and optimize social media accounts for clients, including creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and running paid campaigns
- Stay updated with the latest SEO and social media trends and algorithm changes to ensure our strategies remain effective
- Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content for websites and social media platforms
- Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and provide strategic recommendations for improving their online presence
- Assist with website audits and provide recommendations for improving website structure and user experience
- Track and report on the success of SEO and social media campaigns, making necessary adjustments to improve results
- Continuously monitor and improve website and social media performance to achieve maximum ROI for clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
- Experience managing social media accounts and running paid campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make strategic decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for digital marketing and staying updated with industry trends and best practices
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required
