
Domestic & Family Violence Integrated Response

As the Domestic and Family Violence Integrated Response Officer, you will work at a local level delivering an integrated response within the High Risk Team to customers and their children experiencing domestic and family violence.
**You will do this by**:
- Assessing and appropriately responding to customers and their children experiencing domestic and family violence, including assessment of housing and support needs.
- Assisting customers to access safe, secure and appropriate housing in the social and private rental housing markets by developing and maintaining current knowledge of local rental markets and housing products and services.
- Providing information to customers about referrals to domestic and family violence specialist homelessness services including women's refuges.
- Establishing, strengthening and utilising High Risk Team networks and individual relationships to facilitate multiple entry points for customers to access support.
- Committing to High Risk Team actions and prioritising matters to ensure there is a rapid, integrated and appropriate housing and homelessness response to customer needs.
- Participating in High Risk Team meetings, including any emergency unplanned meetings.
- Acting as the department's coordination point to respond and follow up on any designated actions in a timely, efficient manner.
- Managing the sharing and recording of information relating to high risk cases with partner agencies, both government and non-government, in accordance with relevant legislation, supporting guidelines and resources.
- Strengthen Housing Service Centre staff capability in responding to customers experiencing domestic and family violence and provide support and advice in complex case management.
- Leading and ensuring you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.
