Specialist Courts Coordinator

This role plays a vital part in the Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Court Program workgroup, leading the ongoing development and implementation of specialist courts to address domestic and family violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish high-quality court registry practice for DFV proceedings, ensuring timely and effective processing.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, government agencies, and non-government organizations, to support collaborative responses to DFV.
  • Collaborate on strategies to support integrated responses to DFV, prioritizing projects and implementing initiatives within set timeframes.
  • Develop procedures and protocols to enhance court operations, monitor their effectiveness, and coordinate resources to optimize performance.
  • Implement and maintain accurate data collection processes for reporting, monitoring, and evaluating court performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure operational consistency across Courts Innovation Program work units, the DFV Court Program, and the registry, fostering a cohesive approach to addressing DFV.
  • Monitor progress against identified objectives, reporting to program managers and recommending improvements to enhance overall performance.
  • Research and analyze complex program issues, developing informed solutions that inform policy and procedure development.
