Your new role
As aSIL Engineer, you will plan, conduct, and report on the development, integration, and verification of Electronic Architecture (EA) systems within HDA's System Integration Laboratory and prototype vehicles.
You will support C4I engineering, systems security, and V&V activities to ensure the delivery of technically sound and compliant systems.
Your primary areas of responsibilities
Support C4I capability through the engineering lifecycle from concept to design acceptance.
Assist in the development and integration of EA systems for land platforms.
Plan and execute V&V activities and contribute to certification through OQE gathering.
Develop and maintain engineering artefacts including test plans and trial instructions.
Engage stakeholders and manage expectations across technical teams.
Report on progress, risks, and priorities to support project delivery.
Travel to subcontractor and test locations may be required (domestic and international).
About you
As an ideal candidate you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related).
Experience in C4I systems, embedded systems, or regulated industries (defence, automotive, medical).
Chartered status or eligibility with Engineers Australia is desirable.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
Eligibility
Must be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
