**About the Assignment**

Chandler Macleod, in collaboration with Santos, is currently seeking an experienced Contractor Management, Assurance and Reporting Adviser to join the team located in Adelaide, SA. The primary objective of this role is to be accountable for the delivery of Environment, Health & Safety governance and assurance processes for the respective operating division including the development and monitoring of metrics which demonstrate the effective implementation of the Company Safety Strategy.

**Tasks include**:

- Oversee and manage all contractor and supplier operations concerning EHS governance in the Midstream Division.
- Liaise with and track commitments made with external regulatory bodies to ensure continuous compliance.
- Execute the assurance process across the Division, safeguarding all contractor-related operations.
- Identify, assess, and manage business risks within the division related to contractor management.
- Ensure consistent and reliable EHS reporting across all contractor operations.
- Ensure governance and evidence of compliance with License obligations, whilst driving performance and continuous improvement.
- Consolidate EHS reporting related to contractor management, ensuring standardized tools and metrics are used to fulfil the reporting obligations towards Senior Executives, Functional/Asset Leaders, JV Partners, and Regulators.
- Develop and implement simplified safety & security standards that concentrate on the critical controls within contractor management.
- Demonstrate that controls are established, operational, and verified for all critical contractor requirements.
- Actively participate in assurance activities according to the agreed assurance program.
- Ensure full compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS), Delegation of Authority (DOA), and Corporate Governance and Safety requirements, specifically in relation to contractor management.

**This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.**

**Location for this assignment is Adelaide, SA, working full-time office hours with some requirement for travel.**

**About You**
- Be Degree Qualified or Equivalent Tertiary / work/industry experience in relevant technical area
- Hold Tertiary qualifications in safety, health and environment or related fields
