**About the role**

As a Customer & Contractor Field Manager (Building), you will oversee all building works conducted under Origin Zero's activities. The role will obtain building licencing in relevant jurisdictions and work with the business, team and governing bodies to ensure works are completed in line with regulations & standards.

Reporting to the Group Leader of Customer & Contractor Field Operations, you will act as the technical nominee for building installations, implement HSE and quality assurance systems, processes, audit activities and manage reporting of our contractor base to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, legislation, codes of practice and Origin directives.

**_Please note this is a permanent part time position working 1 day a week._**

**Responsibilities**:
Technical nominee and oversight for all building licensing and works that applies to Origin Zero activities

Carry out field and desktop quality assurance and HSE assurance activities in accordance with the Origin Zero assurance plan

Continually develop and maintain best practice operational procedures for field work

Travel as required to effectively oversee building works

**What will you bring?**

Experience in a similar Building Trade role managing completed projects

Open Class building licence in SA or QLD or required qualifications to obtain

Thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards

Extensive knowledge of building practices across residential and commercial and industrial industries

Previous experience with car park canopies, ground mount structures and minor earthworks

Confident communicator both written and verbal
