The opportunity :
We are seeking a Health Product Analyst to join the AIA Health team based in Melbourne.
In this role, you will support analytics initiatives, translate complex data insights, and analyze product performance.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with the AIA Health Actuarial team and Appointed Actuary.
This role is suitable for someone with experience as a Product Analyst or similar.
To do this successfully you will :
Support analytic efforts to enhance business processes and outcomes, including:
- Investigate and define customer segments to improve profitability and retention
- Identify and analyze claims trends
- Support the definition of project objectives
- Acquire and explore data with guidance
- Build predictive models with guidance, interpret, and communicate results within and outside the team
- Implement, document, and maintain models with guidance
Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Successful applications will demonstrate :
Experience in the life or health insurance industry
Tertiary qualifications in data analytics, business, or a related discipline
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and attention to detail
Experience with statistical/machine learning techniques
