
Health Product Analyst

Health Product Analyst role at AIA Australia, based in Melbourne. The position supports analytics initiatives, translates complex data insights and analyzes product performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with the AIA Health Actuarial team and Appointed Actuary.
Responsibilities- Support analytic efforts to enhance business processes and outcomes
- Investigate and define customer segments to uplift profitability and retention
- Identify and investigate claims trends
- Support definition of project objectives
- Acquire and explore data with guidance
- Build predictive models with guidance
- Interpret and communicate results within the team and support communications outside the team
- Implement, document and maintain models with guidance
- Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management
- Experience working within the life or health insurance industry
- Tertiary qualifications in data analytics, business or related discipline
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and attention to detail
- Experience in statistical / machine learning techniques and delivery
