Within this role you will support analytics initiatives, translate complex data insights and analyse product performance.You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross functional teams and also work closely and take guidance from the AIA Health Actuarial team and Appointed Actuary.
This role will suit someone ideally working within a Product Analyst role or similar.
To do this successfully you will:Support analytic efforts to enhance business processes and outcomes includingInvestigate and define customer segments to uplift profitability and retention Identify and investigate claims trends Support definition of project objectivesAcquire and explore data with some guidanceBuild predictive models with some guidance ? Interpreting and communicating results within team, and support communications outside teamImplement, document and maintain models with some guidanceAny other tasks or responsibilities assigned from time to time by managementSuccessful applications will demonstrate:Experience working within the life or health insurance industryTertiary qualifications in data analytics, business or related disciplineStrong proficiency in data analysis and visualisation toolsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills and attention to detailExperience in statistical / machine learning techniques and deliveryWhy choose AIA:At AIA, we've made a promise to help people live healthier, longer, better lives.
