The Permit Coordinator will manage the successful implementation and ongoing
operational processes required to maintain the new citywide ePermit system. The Permits
Coordinator will provide a centred and diligent approach to managing the expected 60,000
permits. This position will provide a key link between Council's teams and the Blue
Mountains community.

**Key Internal Relationships**:

- Communications and marketing- Citywide parking project manager
- Customer service centre

**Key External Relationships**:The parking analyst will liaise with:
- Pay parking systems technology providers
- Blue Mountains community

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the leading officer for the delivery and management of the ePermit system.
- The coordinator will be working directly between the permit provider, the customer

helpline, Council's customer support team and the citywide parking project manager.
- Monitor and report on the uptake of the permits throughout the city.
- Decipher and report on intricacies that arise with the implementation of a new permit

system across the city.
- Detect and respond to fraud attempts on the permit system and report on their

appearance on a regular basis.

**Workplace Health & Safety**

Ensure compliance with WHS obligations and responsibilities as outlined in Councils
policies and procedures and under the relevant WHS legislation. These include but are
not limited to: identifying potentially unsafe situations or work practices and notifying your
Supervisor or Manager (or the Health, Safety Manager/Area Safety Representative);
never performing a task that you believe is dangerous or for which you do not have the
experience, or have not received appropriate instructions and training or where the correct
equipment to carry out the task safely is not available; always work in a safe manner and
in accordance with safety instructions, where applicable; use the work equipment supplied
for the job, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions), and any personal
protective equipment, which the Council deems necessary and has provided; be safety
aware and report any actions to your line manager which will assist the Council to meet
its legal workplace health and safety obligations.
You have the right to cease or direct cessation of unsafe work. In addition you are required
at all times to comply with Councils Asbestos Management Plan and Policy.

**Compliance & Risk**

You are responsible for ensuring that you conduct your risk management responsibilities
as described in council's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Policy and Procedure (the
ERM Framework) with the goal of ensuring that potential issues are identified and reported
in a timely manner.

Ensure Workplace Ensure, model, comply and co-operate with Workplace Health and
Health and Safety Safety policies, procedures, instructions and safe systems of work.
Provide a work environment free from hazards and ensure the

health and safety of self, staff and other people affected by the
workplace.

Risk Management Manage work practices to mitigate all identified risks, identify and
report additional risk and threats and assist in devising strategies
to mitigate those risks.

Code of Conduct Adhere to Council's Code of Conduct and the policies and
procedures that support it.

Customer Service Meet and strive to exceed customer service standards

Continuous Model continuous improvement. Identify inefficient work practices
Improvement and recommend changes where appropriate.

Information and Create required and appropriate records in Council's electronic
Records records management system and ensure you are managing
Management information to ensure against loss, removal or destruction.

**COMMUNICATION**

The person will be in frequent contact with the community with regard to permit
only require a review online. A proportion of permits will require contacting the permit
will be in regular contact with the Smart Parking Team to
