The challenge

Adobe A/NZ is on a journey to double the size of our business over the next two years.

Our Growth market sales team is rapidly expanding our footprint by unlocking new Enterprise segments and is the Rocketship powering future growth. The team is responsible for growing our market share and helping organisations harness the power of Adobe.

We are looking for entrepreneurial individuals with a deep understanding of the eCommerce space, and the ability to understand how Adobe Commerce can help businesses create exceptional experiences for their customers.

The role of Senior Account Executive, Commerce is the perfect opportunity to take your Sales career into orbit

What You'll Do
- Develop target greenfield account strategies and tactical penetration plans
- Develop and maintain relationships at the "C" and "VP" levels of the defined greenfield accounts
- Develop compelling value propositions based on return-on-investment cost/benefit analysis
- Execute against the major steps of the sales process including finding new business opportunities, qualifying new opportunities, and closing new business
- Sell against annual revenue targets for software licenses
- Coordinate with pre-sales and marketing, partner and professional services teams
- Input ideas and participate in marketing events for demand generation
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts
- Maintain third party relationships

What you'll need
- Proven sales track record with Tier 1 and Tier 2 retailers
- Understanding of B2B and B2C eCommerce trends
- Understanding of both competitive and complimentary solutions in the eCommerce space
- Growth mindset and demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to clearly articulate value propositions
- Ability to orchestrate a cross functional team and collaboratively bring in the right resources to bear at the right stage in the selling process
- Experience and success in selling high value enterprise solutions software ($100K and above)
- Proven new business development skills and a track record of sales quota
- Can do attitude, a creative self-starter; with the ability to work independently and find a way into prospects; in charge of their destiny with mínimal support until the prospect is qualified
- Must have strong skills in the following: communication, presentation skills, negotiation, interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- High comfort level and presence with senior executives
- An accomplished record of selling multi-level to business, technical, IT people, and C-level executives
