We are currently seeking a motivated and professional **Gym Receptionist** to join our team. This is a dual-role position that combines front-of-house responsibilities with hands-on fitness support, including program development and class instruction.

**About the Role**

As the first point of contact for our members and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. In addition to reception and administrative duties, you will utilise your fitness qualifications to provide high-quality member programs and occasionally deliver fitness classes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greeting and assisting members and guests in a professional manner
- Managing membership enquiries, sign-ups, and general administrative tasks
- Designing and delivering basic exercise programs tailored to member needs
- Occasionally instructing group fitness classes as scheduled
- Ensuring the reception area and gym floor are maintained to a high standard
- Supporting member engagement, retention, and satisfaction

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Certificate III in Fitness or higher (mandatory)**:

- Current First Aid and CPR certification WWCC and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in a gym, health club, or fitness-related role (preferred)
- Knowledge of gym management systems or software (desirable)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.95 - $42.34 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week
