Our Industrial group delivers innovative project outcomes for clients. To join our Melbourne and Sydney teams, we are seeking experienced engineers to partner with clients in delivering projects of all sizes.
This position suits a degree-qualified Process or Mechanical Engineer with experience in capital projects within the food, beverage, energy, manufacturing, minerals, or metals industries.
You will be highly organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes. Previous site experience and consulting experience will be well-regarded.
The Role
Provide technical engineering advice and support as part of a diverse team to deliver multi-disciplinary design from early phase scope definition to detailed design.
Build strong relationships with clients, demonstrating your ability to understand their business needs and ensure services meet expectations.
Undertake and lead engineering reviews, investigations, options assessments, and designs.
Manage project finances, including cost tracking, forecasting, and ensuring spend aligns with budget objectives.
Lead and mentor junior engineers, promoting their professional growth and development.
Support implementation phase activities, including contractor supervision, progress monitoring, schedule reviews, contract management, and procurement assistance.
Travel to work alongside clients, gaining industrial site experience through short to long-term assignments as part of site-based engineering teams during the implementation phase.
