We are an industry leader in the mining and civil earthmoving industries with over 50 years' experience and a large fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment across Australia. We take pride in our people, our safety culture and maintaining our equipment to a high standard.
We are seeking a Finance Administrator who will be responsible for processing accounts receivable, debtor management, asset related record keeping and general finance administration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing all external customer invoicing and all debtor management
- Create and process all invoices into the company accounting software and remit to customers within company timeframes
- Regular follow up on outstanding debtors
- Maintain positive customer relationships ensuring all queries are handled in a professional manner
- Provide Accounts Receivable reporting as required to management
- Monitoring of asset movement and recording of all entry and exit inspections
- Liaison with Site/Project Managers regarding future movements and scheduled maintenance
- Management of the Master Asset Schedule
- Management and maintenance of project lookups
- Review of and understand the scope of customer contracts for billing
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced accounting / finance role
- Proven accounting skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks to a high level of quality
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and dedication to undertaking duties in line with company requirements, objectives, and timeframes
