**About the role**:
We are currently looking for experienced, committed, and compassionate support workers to provide one-to-one support services to AOD/mental health/community services/complex behaviour/forensic clients in our newly established SDA/SIL accommodation in Drysdale, Victoria.

**What are we looking for?**
- Minimum Certificate IV in AOD/Mental Health or an equivalent qualification
- 1+ years' prior experience in provision of one-to-one support for people in the AOD, mental health, community services or forensic sectors, working with complex clients.
- Experience with supporting individuals who have experienced complex problems such as substance use, mental illness, intellectual disability, and homelessness.
- Experience working within a non-government AOD and/or MH environment.
- Demonstrated experience undertaking brief and comprehensive forensic alcohol and drug assessment.
- Demonstrable communication skills including report writing, case note writing.
- Ability to demonstrate resilience and work in challenging and high-pressured environments.
- A working knowledge of the relevant and current legislation relating to the client group including the Mental Health Act and Privacy Act.
- Solid knowledge of recovery and harm minimisation approaches to the treatment and management of persons with substance abuse problems

**Mandatory Requirement -**
- Cert IV in AOD/Mental health or equivalent
- Valid Victorian Driver's License
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Manual Handling certificate
- Medication Administration certificate
- Victorian Working with Children's Check
- National Police Check (obtained within last 6 months)
