Immediate start role with an ASX listed mining businessCBD locationAbout Our ClientMy client is a large and well known ASX listed Mining company based in the CBD.Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of Cost Control, your key deliverables will include the following;Monthly SAP reconciliation (cost system to SAP)Reconciliation of indirect cost i.e. flights, accommodation, timesheets etc.Ensuring correct facility and commodity codingRaise Capital appropriation requests (CAR)Support RFA and Contract Variations with cost dataAssist with updating package monthly forecasts, trends and contingencySupport capitalisationRaise Project Cost Transfers where required.Support managing the cost control shared mailbox.Report and provide cost analysis support the project.Ensure compliance to the project controls guidelines and procedures by the project owner's team.Manage cost assessments and ensure timely and accurate cost validation, and valuation process.Assist in maintaining the integrity of integrated project cost reportsSupport development of regular cost and change management reports, including professional analysis and commentary.Assist in the development and update of project cash flow forecastingSupports compliance with standardised processes, systems and toolsMaintain the relationship with contracting and project planning stakeholders to provide an informed forecast of the packages.Collaborate with the planners/schedulers, contracts and estimating groups to ensure that implications of changes are well articulated and understood.Assist with analysing and reporting implications of changes to the IC or annual plan vs forecast.Provide technical support to project stakeholdersProvide an independent assessment of the package progress and estimate at completion.The Successful Applicant Must have experience of working on a large mining project and dealing with multiple projects at one time.
Experience with cost systems (advanced level skills in a recognised software system) Good level excel spreadsheet skills to verify & crosscheck data accuracy across systems Familiarity with running reports for extraction of information from SAP Must be a self-starter to drive and work with minimal supervision Ability to work in a tight schedule to meet reporting cut offs Has to be team player to able to work closely with project members cutting across levels 5+ years of experience in project controls delivery.What's on OfferImmediate start role with a large ASX listed mining companyCompetitive remunerationCBD location
