Senior Financial Analyst

Cost analysts play a vital role in the financial management of large-scale mining projects. As a cost analyst with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work on a prestigious project and contribute to its success.
Key Responsibilities- Reconcile monthly SAP data to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Verify indirect costs, including flights, accommodation, timesheets, and other expenses
- Ensure correct facility and commodity coding for optimal financial performance
- Prepare capital appropriation requests (CAR) for project approval
- Support RFA and contract variations with detailed cost analysis
- Assist in updating package monthly forecasts, trends, and contingency plans
- Manage the cost control shared mailbox and provide support as required
- Conduct cost analysis and provide insights to inform project decisions
- Proven experience working on large mining projects with multiple tasks and priorities
- Advanced skills in SAP and proficiency in Excel for data verification and analysis
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Familiarity with running reports and extracting information from SAP
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
