Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Analyst to join our team. As a Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
Your key deliverables will include:
- Monthly SAP reconciliation (cost system to SAP)
- Reconciliation of indirect costs such as flights, accommodation, timesheets etc.
- Ensuring correct facility and commodity coding
- Raising Capital appropriation requests (CAR)
- Supporting RFA and Contract Variations with cost data
- Assisting with updating package monthly forecasts, trends and contingency
- Supporting capitalization
- Raising Project Cost Transfers where required
- Supporting managing the cost control shared mailbox
- Reporting and providing cost analysis support to projects
- Ensuring compliance to project controls guidelines and procedures by the project owner's team
- Managing cost assessments and ensuring timely and accurate cost validation, and valuation process
- Assisting in maintaining the integrity of integrated project cost reports
- Supporting development of regular cost and change management reports, including professional analysis and commentary
- Assisting in the development and update of project cash flow forecasting
- Supports compliance with standardised processes, systems and tools
- Maintaining the relationship with contracting and project planning stakeholders to provide an informed forecast of packages
- Collaborating with planners/schedulers, contracts and estimating groups to ensure that implications of changes are well articulated and understood
- Assisting with analysing and reporting implications of changes to the IC or annual plan vs forecast
- Providing technical support to project stakeholders
- Providing an independent assessment of the package progress and estimate at completion
