Be part of a construction company with over 20 years of proven experience in the residential construction industry, based in Murray Bridge, we are not a volume builder, we only take on the workloads we can handle effectively and efficiently and have an 18-months waiting list of clients ready to build their new homes.

We are looking for an experienced Residential Construction Site Supervisor to plan and supervise residential construction projects from start to finish. You will oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed promptly and efficiently.

The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

**Responsibilities**:

- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Acquire trades and material and monitor for inadequacies
- Evaluate progress
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as construction site supervision
- In-depth understanding of Australian standards and building codes
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
- Site Supervisors Licence

Site Supervisors Job Description

The residential construction site supervisor needs to plan his work and lay out the tasks for his team. A thorough site supervisor needs to forecast and determine the work that needs to be done for the proposed project. Responsibilities include:
Liaise with trades, suppliers and team members, making sure everyone is on the same page, they all understand their roles and when they need to meet deadlines.

Conducting formal weekly meetings with the Manger

Reviewing the project in-depth to determine if everything is done according to plan and report back to the Manager

Procurement of trades and vetting them for the role

Review the contractual conditions of performance, determining the precision of the work, handling requirements and deliverables, etc.

Ensure the projects are running on time

Stay on budget/estimate, compare and cut unnecessary costs to stay within budget limits.

Resolve any disputes that could come on the construction site. Disputes could come in different forms:

- Subcontractors
- The client
- Third parties

Ensure every client receives enough support and establish an unbreakable relationship, this includes pre-construction meetings and site visits

Coordinate support and do training

Phone and car provided.

**Salary**: From $85,000.00 per year
