Disability Support Team Leader

About the role

We are currently recruiting for an Disability Support Team Leader to look after the health and wellbeing of our client through the provision of high quality care in a respite or home care environment.

As a Disability Support Team Leader, you would be responsible for both leading a team of support workers and providing disability support to our client This includes:

- Personal Care
- Leading a team of support workers, managing staff rosters, and client appointments
- ensuring the house is kept clean and tidy, responding to hazards, and reporting.
- Experience being an excellent team leader in Group Homes or residential facilities is an advantage.
- Experience Supporting Huntington Disease is an advantage

Essential requirements:

- Demonstrated evidence as an experienced disability support worker supporting clients with high intensity needs and complex care
- Current Manual Handling Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Police Check
- Current Working with Children's Check for paid employment
- Current Drivers Licence and own car
- In accordance with the NSW Public Health Order, mandatory vaccination will be required for this position. Where applicable, evidence will be requested at probity check stage.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $32.50 - $34.80 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Night shift
- On call
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Campbelltown, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
