**About the role**:
Officeworks have an opportunity for an up and coming Internal Communications Coordinator to join our expanding Officeworks team. If you understand the importance of clear and engaging communication, have impeccable attention to detail and strong stakeholder engagement - this role is perfect for you.

Currently, this position is based at our Support Office in East Bentleigh, Victoria and we support a hybrid work approach (2-3 days on-site and working from home) and we will offer flexible working hours for the role.

This exciting role will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of Officeworks' internal communications and channel management across key business areas. In addition, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing internal communications channels and the implementation of key internal communications campaigns, ensuring messaging is consistent, up to date, relevant and timely.
- Drafting and editing key communications including weekly newsletters and messages from senior leaders as advised by the Internal Communications Manager.
- Proactively building strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders and functions to ensure timely, aligned, and effective internal communications.
- Be a trusted advisor and support the Internal Communications Manager on sensitive and complex internal communications challenges and issues.
- Provide support for new store openings and business wide events including booking logistics and developing content.

**About you**:
With 3+ years of previous experience working in a similar communications role, you are able to influence and drive engagement to ensure our team members are connected and inspired to our purpose and vison.

In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or similar.
- Excellent communications and editing skills - interpersonal, written and presentation.
- Stakeholder management skills - ability to successfully engage with a large and diverse network of internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Drive for continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
- Engaging, self-motivated, driven, positive attitude.
