
Workforce Capability Lead

**Your typical day as a Workforce Capability Lead - may include:
- Designing and developing a range of strategic workforce initiatives
- Advising stakeholders on various aspects of workforce planning and employee experience matters
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders, within and outside of the Division
- Researching and sharing best practice to inform workforce strategy development
- Developing roll-out plans to launch new workforce initiatives across QRO
You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design, development and delivery of organisational capability priority projects, policies and strategies, in relation to workforce planning, talent management and culture.
- Preparing and co-ordinating project plans, ensuring appropriate use of project management methodologies and tools to deliver timely and fit for purpose outcomes.
- Providing expert advice and high-quality reports, submissions and briefings for senior management.
- Leading and promoting workforce improvement activities that will drive employee engagement, capability building and cultural and performance improvements.
- Identifying and presenting quality innovative process improvements to ensure continuous improvement in organisational capability.
- Managing, negotiating, consulting and building relationships with stakeholders to ensure the development and ongoing maintenance of collaborative relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- strong understanding of organisational design, talent management, capability development, and performance frameworks in a large, complex organisation.
- highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- the ability to influence and work collaboratively with strong facilitation, consultation and influencing skills.
- strong ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and deliver quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
