Lead high-quality mental health, alcohol and other drug triages to determine the most appropriate treatment and care pathways for infants, children and young people.
Provide clinical advice, recommendations and referrals to clients and other healthcare professionals.
Act as a leader in the development of the Child and Youth Triage team and the broader Acute Intervention Services programme.
Assist with shift coordination functions such as managing staffing emergent shortfalls.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake high-quality and timely mental health, alcohol and other drug triages
- Provide clinical advice, recommendations and referrals
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Div 1)
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
