Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Senior Structural Engineer
to lead our structural engineering team in Canberra. As a leading engineering consultancy, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality designs for a wide range of projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with excellent technical skills and a great work ethic. They will thrive in a dynamic team environment, working collaboratively with clients, directors, engineers, and technicians to develop projects from conceptual design through to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop project requirements in collaboration with clients
Lead teams of engineers and draftspersons to deliver projects on time and budget
Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant design codes and first principles underpinning the work we do
Provide exceptional engineering analysis skills, including experience with RAPT, RAM Concept, Bentley suite, SpaceGASS, Strand, Excel, Word, and Outlook
Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure project success
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Chartered Member of Engineers Australia
8 years post-graduate experience in the Australian market as a guide
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant design codes and first principles underpinning the work we do
Excellent engineering analysis skills
Experience with post-tensioned concrete design
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Project management skills
