Lead Project Designer

We're seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our Canberra team, working on Structural projects that shape our communities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to design and deliver projects across various sectors, including Defence, Health, Education, and Urban Design.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed designs, calculations, and technical reports for projects.
- Develop winning proposals to secure new work and build strong client relationships.
- Apply safety principles to ensure high-quality, sustainable results.
- Assist in overseeing and coordinating project scopes for government projects.
- Expand technical skills in structural engineering disciplines and BIM software expertise.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A degree in Engineering.
- At least 4 years' experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in Structures (large commercial buildings and urban infrastructure).
- Expertise in software packages like RAPT, RAM Concept, ETABS, SPACE GASS, and REVIT.
- The ability to prepare technical reports and manage multiple projects using business systems.
- A passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes and finding innovative solutions to save time and cost.
- An enthusiasm for enhancing project management skills and contributing to meaningful projects.
