Job Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our Buildings Team in Wagga Wagga. This role offers the chance to collaborate with our global team of experts within a renowned international consultancy, allowing you to leverage your skills across a balance of technical work, project management, and client relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and inspection of buildings, along with assessments and reporting.
- Collaboration with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects.
- Project management and leading teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Working as part of a team on projects from conception through to final design and construction surveillance.
Requirements:
- A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
- 3-6 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment.
- Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials.
- Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
- Ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers.
