As part of the Sales and Service team, your role will be to manage and service a portfolio of CHEP Australia Customers through telephone contact in order to build relationships, resolve queries and identify and convert opportunities to grow market share. This role will be based at shiny new offices in Macquarie Park and reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Creating rapport with your portfolio of Customers over the phone, following a structured 3-month call cycle
- Owning, retaining and growing your nominated accounts through regular 'customer telephone visits'
- Solving in-depth and complex customer issues relating to their account with CHEP, delivering superior customer service.
- Identifying and cross selling CHEP's service offerings and platforms to customers within the designated portfolio
- Introducing existing customers to the latest CHEP technology, policies and processes to enhance customer engagement
- Experience in a busy outbound telephone sales role with solid relationship or territory management experience
- Well-developed negotiation and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated skills in working with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience working with a CRM and SAP would be an advantage
- Experience in quickly and efficiently solving customer issues
- A can-do positive attitude with an empathetic nature
- The ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and operate well under pressure
