Head Of Technology

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Technology to join our Senior Management Team.
This senior leadership role is responsible for the strategic direction, innovation, and execution of Aliva's technical services and customer solution architecture.
The CTO will guide the design and evolution of our technology stack, oversee delivery standards across all customer environments, and drive technical excellence within the engineering team through mentoring and leadership.Key Responsibilities:Define and maintain Aliva's overall technical vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable ICT solutions tailored to meet customer requirements across cloud, infrastructure, and security domains.Develop and mentor the technical team to build capability, foster innovation, and uphold high standards of technical delivery.Contribute to strategic business decisions as part of the Senior Management Team and collaborate across departments to align technical initiatives with organisational objectives.Live by Aliva's values and contribute to building the company's brand.Key Selection Criteria:Proven experience (5+ years) in senior technical leadership roles, ideally within a Managed Service Provider environment.Expertise in cloud technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS), network and security infrastructure, and modern workplace environments.Strong background in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, and designing ICT solutions for SME and mid-market clients.Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring technical teams.Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, Essential 8, and ITIL.Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and developing others.Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco, Fortinet, or AWS certifications.Experience with PSA/RMM platforms (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask, Datto or N-able).
Prior experience as a CTO, Head of Technology, or Solutions Director within an MSP or systems integrator.Why Join Us?
