Purpose of Role :

Weir Minerals is seeking a visionary and technically skilled Head of Screening Technology to lead the strategic and technical development of our Vibrating Screen and Feeder product line. This key leadership role within our Division Technology team focuses on driving innovation, product excellence, and delivering customer value across global markets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safety First : Demonstrate unwavering commitment to zero harm principles, fostering a world-class safety culture.
  • Lead Innovation : Own product definitions and act as the design authority to develop cutting-edge screening technologies.
  • Deliver Results : Manage product roadmaps and customer projects to ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate Globally : Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, commercial, and product management teams worldwide.
  • Drive Excellence : Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all engineering and project activities.
  • Inspire Teams : Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technologists, cultivating a culture of innovation and accountability.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's or PhD preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in minerals processing, comminution, or vibrating screen technology
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of SHE standards, FMEA, DFMA, and engineering best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software; experience with NPI, APQP, and product lifecycle management
