**Customer Experience Officer - Local Government**

**Location
- Perth CBD**
**Payrate
- $35+super per hour**
**Hours
- Full time M-F 38 hours per week**
**Duration
- 12 weeks**

**Role purpose**
Be the first point of contact for enquiries, comments, and issues within this local Government department. Provide quality customer service and administrative support by ensuring that customers' queries are answered in a courteous and timely manner.

**Duties**
- Actively supports team members and contributes to the operation of the Customer Experience Centre.
- Records all interactions, comments, and complaints with customers in the appropriate systems with data quality and accuracy.
- Undertakes administrative functions including (but not limited to) receipting, bookings, basic reporting and written customer correspondence.
- Responds to customers via multiple channels such as in-person, telephone, online and written correspondence.
- Required to meet standards of service and KPI's across various customer channels.
- Perform other duties as directed when appropriate to the scope and level of this position.

**Essential Criteria**
1. Demonstrated experience in frontline customer service with a sound knowledge of customer service expectations and standards
2. High proficiency with the use of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365
3. Demonstrated experience communicating with customers through various channels
4. Expereince drafting basic documents and maintaining accurate records
5. Ability to prioritise workloads and tasks in a timely manner whilst working under mínimal guidance
6. Ability to work effectively in an ever-changing, flexible team environment
Desirable Criteria
1. Knowledge of Local Government functions and practises
2. Experience with Customer Record/Relationship Management Systems

**Eligibility requirements associated with the position**
1. Must be able to work on a roster covering weekends and public holidays including day and afternoon shifts
2. Current National Police Clearance (within the preceding three months)
